Today I’m Grateful for…
Walden Pond, where Henry David Thoreau lived for 2 years, 2 months, and 2 days.
This is the story that started my husbands journey into living small, and ultimately what led us to live in a tiny house for a handful of years.
It was amazing to see the property that HDT lived on, where exactly he was located, seeing his replica house and even adding a stone to his “memorial stone pile” since he (apparently) didn’t like official pressed stone plaques. Walking around the entire Walden Pond really was a highlight of me and Eddie’s trip to MA.
