In this post, I talk through how this past month has gone in my Praxis program and Praxis business partner apprenticeship. As well as talking about my official completion of the Praxis program!

To learn more about my experience in the Praxis program, check out my series of blog post called My Praxis Experience: Monthly Blog Posts.

What I’m Learning…

… in my business partner apprenticeship: There are a million things that you can do in SalesForce! I recently started working in SalesForce and have realized that it is so much more complicated than I initially thought. It is easy to understand once you know the layout of your dashboard, but if you go to another companies dashboard, it’s like you have to start over and re-learn everything. I think this is amazing, and I’m excited to be getting my hands dirty with SalesForce.

… in my life in general: Closing out a chapter in your life can be hard. Now that my time in the Praxis program is coming to a close, I am tying up the loose ends with projects and identifying how I will be spending my time going forward. It’s a good thing, but I’m learning that the change can feel a little odd.

What I’m Creating…

… in my business partner apprenticeship:

As a Client Success Manager, I am e-mailing clients on a day to day basis. I’m their go-to gal for quick problem resolution. That leaves me with a lot of room for improving client relations and helping them feel more confident in our company. After the past six months with my business partner, I think that I’ve done a good job creating a genuine bond with our clients and developing those relationships further.

… in my life in general: During my Praxis Bootcamp, I set a goal to have a certain amount of Excellennial videos recorded by May 1st, (my expected “graduation” date). I now have a total of 21 videos recorded and are now in the process of being edited. Those were the last 21 videos I needed to meet my goal for May 1st!

How I’m Growing…

What have I done this month to grow into the person I seek to be:

I’ve been thinking a lot more about my routine and defining how those small habits of mine effect each day for me. This month, I have assessed what is vital to me in a morning and nightly routine, and have begun working out the best way to make those routines into automatic processes.

Praxis Graduation!

Instead of my usual “Praxis Wednesday” section this month, I am going to talk about my official Praxis graduation! Since I started my apprenticeship earlier than expected, I graduated a month earlier than planned too. I started the Praxis program on May 1st, 2018 and graduated March 24th, 2019!

Here’s the thing – I can’t tell if I think the past six months went by like a speeding freight train or like float down the lazy river in Schlitterbahn – but it has been a blast!

I’ve learned how much I LOVE working in the non-profit realm, I visited Utah on my first ever business trip and I work closely with my companies Executive Director, even though she lives across the country.

Now, I am ecstatic to say that I have received and graciously accepted my job offer with Mission First Operations!!! My first official day was March 24th and I already feel a part of the “MFO” family!

I’m so grateful for Praxis! I’m thankful for everything that I learned, and also all of the friendships and connections that I have now. Thank you so much to Praxis for setting me up with so many relationships, tools, and connections to help me get to where I am today!

I hope you enjoyed my monthly summary of my time with Praxis and my Praxis business partner. If you are interested in learning more about Praxis, check out
